PAACS

Since 2024, CEML has been formally recognized as a partner hospital with the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS). The PAACS program helps ensure that hospitals across Africa can train gifted, Christian surgeons whose hearts yearn to serve their African brothers and sisters.

CEML’s Dr. Sam Fabiano is a graduate of the PAACS program run through Bongolo Hospital in Gabon. Dr. Fabiano serves as co-director of the PAACS program with Dr. Annelise Olsen. At present, the PAACS General Surgery Residency Program at CEML has 4 members. Through CEML’s partnership with PAACS, we are not only ensuring the future of surgery in our hospital, but we are also raising up surgeons to serve elsewhere in Angola.

Because the majority of PAACS-affiliated hospitals are in the English-speaking world, there is a great need for our surgical residents to improve their English. CEML is also in the process of expanding its facility to better accommodate the surgical residency program.

If you feel called to teach intensive English as a Second Language classes, contact us for more information.

Donations for the ongoing CEML facility improvement are also gratefully accepted.
