The PAACS program helps ensure that hospitals across Africa can train gifted, Christian surgeons whose hearts yearn to serve their African brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CEML\u2019s Dr. Sam Fabiano is a graduate of the PAACS program run through Bongolo Hospital in Gabon. Dr. Fabiano serves as co-director of the PAACS program with Dr. Annelise Olsen. At present, the PAACS General Surgery Residency Program at CEML has 4 members. Through CEML\u2019s partnership with PAACS, we are not only ensuring the future of surgery in our hospital, but we are also raising up surgeons to serve elsewhere in Angola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because the majority of PAACS-affiliated hospitals are in the English-speaking world, there is a great need for our surgical residents to improve their English.
